DSGN 197: BA Senior Project, served as an in-depth study of current issues in the design fields. Through a workshop called the Sea Change Process, we connected to our intuition and found our own calling intentions, which encapsulated who we were as designers and what we would bring to the world with design. I was able to find my own personal calling intention: How can I lean into authenticity and empathy with my community to enrich deep inclusion and confidence? This intention guided me throughout my work in the class and challenged me to see deeper meanings in my design processes.
p1: building awareness
An 8-fold orihon style booklet, that visualizes of the unique personality of my interview partner, Lisa, one of my classmates in DSGN 197.

p2: discovering the relationship between design and human experience
A 22x28 poster/calendar print that is an abstract visual representation of my calling intention through my own personal voice.

p3: leveraging your calling into organizational intentions
A group project where I worked alongside 3 of my peers to create an organization, whose focus was to interrupt fast fashion cycles by repurposing older clothing. My focuses for this project were: 1. Making the artifact of our organization, which was a line of different styles of repurposed clothing, and 2. designing a visual representation of our ripple story.

p4: design process booklet
My final project was to put together a booklet that showcases my design processes for each project throughout the semester.
